The *Program Specialist *supports the program department in achieving the annual goals and strategic plan of Future for KIDS.
Support includes administrative functions, such as data entry, STEM outreach, support Program Manager with program materials and prep, and other office duties.
The Program Specialist will also assist with volunteer recruitment (presentations/tabling), assist with the onboarding process of volunteers as needed, and help facilitate mentor trainings with the Volunteer Coordinator.
In the field at DYF programs you will support as needed.

*Duties and Responsibilities: *All responsibilities listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position.
* Performs administrative functions related to the department which may include data entry, support with program material preparation.
* Attend staff and program meetings
* Facilitate and support Mentor training in collaboration with Volunteer Coordinator.
* Be able to represent Future for KIDS at tabling events, presentations, and STEM outreach in the community
* Assist with components of Discover Your Future and Day to Play programs.
* Create flyers, newsletters and basic marketing materials
* Maintains general office environment
* Assist with additional office and organization duties as required.
*Qualifications:*
* 2+ years' experience in youth programs.
* 3+ years in administrative assistance experience.
* Data management systems experience (knowledge of Sales Force helpful)
* Experience in non-profits a plus
* Demonstrated organizational and decision-making skills
* Oral communication-must be able to speak clearly, and persuasively individually or in group settings.
* Experience presenting and facilitating to small and/or large groups,
* Proficient in Microsoft office programs
* Proficient and accurate when entering data
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people and promote a positive working environment, spirit of cooperation and positive reactions to change and conflict resolution
* Valid Arizona Driver’s License
* Reliable vehicle
* Fingerprint Clearance Card
* First Aid/CPR Certified
*Working Conditions*: On occasions, you will be responsible for evening, weekend work, and working outdoors.
This position has a hybrid work environment with time in the office and time out in the field at program locations.
*Physical Requirements*: You may be called upon to lift objects in the storage area, program events, and fund-raising events.
