The City Clerk Department seeks a dedicated professional to join their team as an Administrative Assistant I.
Administrative Assistant I handle a variety of administrative duties reflecting the business needs of an administrator.
Some duties include: Performing statistical analyses and program monitoring.
Studying administrative problems and developing improved systems, procedures, and forms.
Work requires initiative and judgment and is performed under the general direction of a department, assistant department, or division head.
Performance is evaluated from written reports and results achieved.
IDEAL CANDIDATE Strong attention to details.
Strong communication skills, written and oral, including public speaking experience.
Ability to accomplish tasks in collaboration with individuals over whom this position has no direct authority.
Ability to work collaboratively together with residents, other departments, and other stakeholders across the city to accomplish organizational objectives.
SALARY Pay Range: $23.
74 to $44.
77 per hour.
Hiring Range: $23.
74 to $35.
08 per hour.
Pay Range Explanation: Pay range is the entire compensation range for the position classification.
Hiring range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer.
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.

Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Office.

Handling confidential information concerning employee transfers.
Compiling and analyzing investment and financial data.
Report writing, memos, and creating/managing organizational charts.
Working collaboratively with external stakeholders.
Managing virtual meetings.
Spanish fluency, including written and oral.
