Our Administrative Assistant assists in the organization and coordination of overall office administration for the branch.
This position will report directly to the Regional Admin.
Primary Objective:
This position is responsible for assisting in the organization and coordination of overall office administration.
Essential Duties:
Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
Answering Phones and directing to appropriate party
“One-Call” Duties (coordinate calls, schedule onsite excavation, process tickets using iMaps application, ARCGIS, Google Earth)
Typical office duties; filing, shredding, supply ordering, etc.
Utilizing basic Microsoft programs (i.
e.
Word, Excel, etc.
)
Filing alphabetically and sequentially
Assistance with payroll
Data Entry
Tracking man hours
Assisting with Accounts Payable
Coding out expense spreadsheets
Assisting Office Manager in other duties as they arise
Occasional errands for the office

Requirements:
Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Experience with payroll programs such as SAGE 300CRE and/or Paycom.
Advance computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
All applicants must have a clean driving record and must be 18+ years old.
A pre-employment drug test and background check is required.
High school diploma or GED required and at least 1 year of experience.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 lbs, walk without assistance, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.

Capable of working under time constraints to ensure critical deadlines are met.

Knowledge of state one-call agency program regulations.
Working knowledge of Texas 811 and One Call Ticketing system.

Working Conditions:
This position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
Work is performed in a typical office environment.
A variety of tasks do require the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 lbs, walk without assistance, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
Benefits:
Benefits are available to full-time employees (30 or more hours per week).

40 hours vacation pay after 1 year; 80 hours after 2 years.
