Job Description:
We are a construction welding and fabrication business seeking a part-time administrative assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative tasks related to project billing, payroll taxes, invoicing, and more.
We’re looking for someone who can work in the office, at least part-time (can be very minimal hours if needed), especially in the beginning.
This helps with training, getting to know the team, setting up routines, and way of handling things.
Remote work may be a possibility once operations/procedures have been established.
Responsibilities:
· Utilize various computer programs, including QuickBooks, Excel, Windows, Outlook, and AIA billing software
· Experience with AIA Billing process and software
· Perform billing for completed jobs
· Generate unconditional progress/lien waivers
· General bookkeeping experience/knowledge
· Sales Tax processing, Payroll Tax reporting (Quarterly)
· Annual audit preparation
Preferences:
Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably in the construction industry
Knowledge/Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, Windows, and Outlook
Familiarity with AIA billing software
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Schedule: Part-time (Hours of operation 6am-2:30pm) – Pick your schedule (2-20 hours per week) within hours of operation (flexible)
Salary: Starting at $23.
00 per hour, doe
