Responsibilities: We are looking for an outgoing, friendly, and energetic Support Specialist to join our team! This person will be primarily responsible for the overall operations of the Mail Room.
Responsibilities: Processes outgoing mail, which includes operating the automated mail inserter for folding, stuffing material into envelopes, weighing and application of correct postage with utilization of various postage meter equipment.
Process print jobs with noted specifications in a timely manner, constantly monitor the quality of the finished product.
Use copy room equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Machine setup and operation.
Setup, monitor, and maintain inkjet systems when applicable Be responsible for general maintenance of the mailroom machines.
Submit work orders as necessary.
Maintain mail room supply inventory and replenish as necessary.
Keep mail room organized and clean.
Maintain mail room logs Assist with sorting and delivery of incoming mail to correct personnel/department.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
Ability to proficiently utilize computer programs and company database systems, including MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook), internet, e-mail.
Ability to interact and work positively and effectively with staff at all levels.
Partners with support staff and management to effectively manage the front reception area and assist with various administrative projects during any downtime or as directed by Supervisor.
Ability to handle confidential information with proper discretion.
Recording, scanning, indexing and filing both paper and electronic documents per company procedures.
Provide leadership as required Follows all company policies and procedures Willingness to train in other departments.
Plus other work related tasks as needed The ideal Candidate must have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and meet time sensitive deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition, the ability to build a rapport with coworkers, vendors, and clients, and the ability to work independently.
Candidate will possess the skills and initiative to be challenged to continue building efficiencies in the support department and be offered growth within this role as well as the possibility to explore other departments in the company.
Qualifications: Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required.
Associate degree preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Power Point).
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Pay and Benefits: $16.
