Provides efficient clinical and administrative supervision of an Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT).
Serves as a liaison with administration, clinical services, service providers and external stakeholders.
Reviews appropriateness for outpatient and inpatient treatment services.
Oversees team's day-to-day functioning in relation to the delivery of Assertive Community Treatment Services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This is a supervisory position requiring more education and experience therefore the applicant must have one of the following combinations of education, license and/or behavioral health work experience: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field and a minimum of three (3) years of behavioral health work experience OR An equivalent combination of education and experience of HS/GED and seven (7) years of behavioral health work experience is acceptable.
Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory/managerial experience required.
Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire Must have reliable transportation, valid AZ Driver’s License with state minimum insurance coverage and ability to meet and maintain Copa Health’s acceptable driving requirements.
TB Test clearance required at the time of hire and annually.
JOB SUMMARY (Including, but not limited to): Participates in the hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and supervising of ACT Case Managers, and all ACT Team Specialists both administratively and clinically.
Monitors and evaluates direct reports overall performance Responsible for ensuring team is compliant with all established fidelity measures Monitors population on civil or criminal Court Ordered Treatment (COT) to ensure that behavioral health participants and teams are adherent to all terms of the court order Ensures that staff communicate with courts as required either in person or written report and that such communication is consistent with the assessments, Individual Service Plans, and team recommendations for the service participant Works with the clinical team to ensure individuals receive appropriate care within the least restrictive setting including coaching and mentoring specific to inpatient and residential treatment discharge plans Ensures that direct reports are providing coordination of care to internal and external provider agencies, stat entities, or other stakeholders (e.
g.
probation officers, advocates, family member, hospital staff, jail staff vocational rehabilitation etc.
) as needed.
