POSITION SUMMARY:
Monday ? Friday Position with core hours of 7:30am ? 4:30pm (may vary on an as needed basis).
This role is primarily responsible for processing all incoming calls by addressing the situation and either routing the call to the appropriate department/person, paging overhead, or taking messages if necessary.
This position plays a vital role in expediting communications between contracted facilities and in supporting the Provider's day-to-day hospital and office clinics.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Provide effective communication and strong listening skills.
Ability and willingness to deescalate/handle difficult calls.
Answer multiple calls in a courteous and timely manner.
Route or page calls to the appropriate extensions and/or departments.
Retrieves voicemail messages and creates phone notes, as necessary.
Performs various daily and routine administrative tasks.
Performs other duties as assigned and requested within scope of work.
