*Overview: *We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our dental practice as a Patient Care Coordinator.
As the primary point of contact for our hygiene appointments, you will play a crucial role in creating positive patient experiences, ensuring efficient scheduling, and maintaining accurate patient records.
*Responsibilities:*
*Patient Service Excellence:*
* Provide exceptional patient service with compassion and care, aligning with company policies, government regulations, and dental board standards.
* Build lasting impressions with patients to foster trust and loyalty.
*Appointment Scheduling:*
* Utilize practice management software (Denticon) to schedule and manage hygiene appointments efficiently.
* Ensure the hygiene schedule is optimized to meet the needs of both patients and the dental team.
*Data Entry and Account Management:*
* Perform data entry tasks and update information for new and existing member accounts using dental software.
* Maintain accurate patient data, including chart documents, personal information, treatment consultations, and account history transactions.
*Daily Close Out Procedures:*
* Execute daily close-out procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
* Contribute to the smooth financial operations of the practice.
*Administrative Tasks:*
* Review Morning Huddle reports and actively participate in discussions.
* new patient intake forms (eg health history, dental history), insurance information
* Checking out of patients, and ensuring the next appt is scheduled
* Following up on missed appts and responding to patient queries and correspondence
* Use a combination of phone, text message, and email for patient communications
*Compliance and Conflict Resolution:*
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Address and resolve Doctor, Member, or Employee grievances, complaints, and inquiries, seeking assistance when necessary.
*Schedule:*
Clinical Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.
m.
– 5:00 p.
m.
*Qualifications:*
* Dental office management experience is required.
* Proficiency in dental software, with experience in *Dentrix preferred*.
* Current Driver's License and reliable transportation.
* Must have or be willing to obtain a Real ID prior to starting.
* Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
* Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
