POSITION SUMMARY This position provides technical and administrative support for technologies used by the business.
The role will concentrate on the administration and support of IT technology, including but not limited to desktop applications, telephony, networking, line-of-business applications, 3rd party services, and computer hardware.
This role will require developing and maintaining an adequate knowledge of existing hardware and software in use.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Follow company policies, procedures, and work standards.
Assist in providing computer/network support relating to software and hardware problems reported by associates.
Provide computer/network support relating to software and hardware issues reported by users.
Appropriately responds to issues in a timely manner and with resolution or course of action.
Install new software applications or hardware on user endpoints, servers and coordinating assistance from third parties when necessary.
Configuring new users in Active Directory, Office 365, and various Business Systems.
Manage mobile device inventory, provisioning, and provide support.
Follow company policies, procedures, and work standards.
Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of operating system and application software being used to provide high levels of support to associates.
Assist in installation of workstations and printers on the network.
Work with vendors to help resolve technical issues.
Report all relevant information to the management team.
Perform miscellaneous related duties and other duties as assigned, Occasional travel to other locations for project, training, and support purposes.
Arrive for each workday on time and prepared.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in and contribute to Mariani initiatives.
Assist other team members in the performance of their assignments.
Develop new ideas that will help the department run more efficiently.
Participate in other department and business functions as needed (i.
e.
, the snow removal process in emergencies, internal quality audits, holiday retail, administrative support, etc.
).
Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY This position has no supervisory responsibility for other employees.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree Field of Major Study (if applicable): Information Technology KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 1-3 years of experience in a Microsoft Windows end user support environment.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of IT principles and functions.
Demonstrate proficiency in performing systems administration.
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows server and workstations.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with external clients and Mariani associates on a consistent basis.
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment, including taking direction and constructive feedback from managers, as well as providing feedback to other team members and managers.
Demonstrate flexibility to perform duties wherever volume deems it necessary.
Ability to deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
Demonstrates a commitment to self-development and continuing education.
Demonstrate accountability for work being performed and completed on schedule.
Technical certifications, Associate, or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field of study a plus+.
Familiarity with Network switches and firewalls a plus+.
Familiarity with Office 365 cloud technologies a plus+.
WORKING CONDITIONS Are there particular working conditions associated with this position that should be noted (i.

, noise level, hours of work, travel, lifting a certain number of pounds, etc.
).
Work requires intermittent physical activity including standing, reaching and prolonged periods of sitting and working extensively at a computer terminal.
Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to internal and external client needs and deadlines.
