The clock measures approximately 8 1/4" with the handle down.
Rosewood case inlaid with(presumably) satinwood.
For comparison purposes, the last photo shows the French clock next to to a standard size carriage clock.
The carriage clock is not included in this auction.

It ran for over six days, striking properly on a gong.
