) Authentic Vintage Porcelain Japanese Serving Bowl, Large – Hand Painted I received this bowl as a gift from a Japanese supplier when I worked for a company in 1972.
I am the original owner.
I hardly used it.
No flaws.
It is hard to believe this bowl is over 50 years old! It still has the “Made in Japan” sticker on the bottom.
It has never been in a dishwasher.
Mint condition.
Hardly used.
No chips, scratches, fading, or cracks.
Background is primarily forest green in color with various Japanese-themed scenes around the perimeter.
Inside at bottom of bowl is a beautifully gold painted floral emblem.
Bottom of bowl indicates it was produced by a company called Gold Imari of Japan and notes that it is was “hand painted.
” Measures approximately 9-3/4” in diameter across top.
Approximately 4” tall (depth).
Top edge of bowl is delightfully scalloped in white.
Inside bowl has a gold painted floral motif around the edge.
Kept in a smoke-free home.
