Southwest Mobiles Storage is looking for a web developer/ graphic design person who will be responsible for creating, managing and maintaining our corporate websites.
Primary duties include conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for client websites, as well as creating visual elements that are in line with our company branding.
You will be working closely with our marketing, sales and IT teams to ensure proper, secure and hassle-free implementation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent visual design skills and be proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, as well as a demonstrated proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.

Primary Responsibilities include:
Taking ownership of design projects.
Conceptualizing creative ideas
Produce design assets for use in social media and marketing channels.
Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with approved corporate branding initiatives.
Collaborate with UX, marketing, engineering, and other teams.
Utilizing data and analytics in making design decisions.
Working with third party front-end web devs to deploy designs.
Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
Create and maintain a database of design assets.
The most successful candidates will exhibit the following skills:
A relevant diploma or certification and experience in a related field.
Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
Good understanding of content management systems.
Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
Excellent visual design skills.
Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new techniques and technologies
Excellent communication skills.
Some experience (1-3 years) a must.
