We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer for our Electric Power Growth team within E&PS Engineering Test Services group.
This team plays a critical role for NPD/NPI programs in the validation and certification of performance and reliability of aerospace electrical motors, generators and associated subsystems.
The successful candidate shall support the development and establishment of new systems, processes, and architectures to support the development and testing of new electric power products.
Candidate shall help support test execution, documentation, and the design of new test systems including special test equipment (STE), specialized test setups, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
Role includes collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, design teams and quality assurance.
This role also mentors more junior engineers with technical guidance and leadership through knowledge and experience to achieve their objectives.
In this role of Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer, the candidate will be expected to leverage their advanced technical knowledge, experience, discipline, and communication skills to support the various activities.
These activities include defining technical requirements and overseeing the development of test system designs, as well as the planning and execution of tasks and projects related to the testing and certification of electric power products further driving the Electrification of Aerospace.
Key Responsibilities Drive innovation in test systems, methods, and equipment, continuously improving the efficiency and accuracy of testing practices and procedures Engages and leads cross-functional teams across various engineering and integrated supply chain teams to support test readiness activities spanning across various Honeywell sites.
Supports estimating, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of various assigned test campaigns spanning across early project planning, test logistics, test equipment design, and test execution.
Leads compliance of test processes and procedures to customer requirements and applicable industry standards and regulations.
Manage Agile project management principles, methodologies, and activities by applying and executing agile frameworks to current and future projects and manage JIRA boards, backlogs, epics, etc.
Assess technical challenges and risks and develops/manages Risk Management Plans.
Analyze and interpret test data to identify anomalies, support complex troubleshooting efforts and provide recommendations for system and subsystem design improvements.

YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum of 8 years of experience in test and instrumentation technologies or industrial automation.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including electromagnetic theory, control systems and thermal management.
Proficiency in data acquisition and analysis tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, or equivalent WE VALUE Higher education or related professional certifications (PE License).
Strong technical writing skills/experience.
Strong computer networking knowledge/experience.
Familiarity with industry standards such as IEC, IEEE, ISO, etc.
Experience in requirements-based engineering.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Expert level experience with standard test equipment (i.
e.
oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, etc.
) Ability to develop and monitor process improvement processes.
Ability to mentor more junior engineers to both administrative and technical solutions.
Experience working in diverse engineering teams.
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to adapt in highly dynamic environments Ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks and personnel concurrently.
Making autonomous decisions in line with department and company objectives.
