Job Type Unclassified Department Recorder About the Position The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office (MCRO) is seeking an individual who shares our commitment to customer experience, service resiliency, and program excellence.
MCRO is searching for an experienced and skilled web developer to join our team who will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining applications for the department’s websites.
This position is responsible for supporting in-house .
NET web applications for the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office and Elections Department websites.
Additionally, this position will provide development, maintenance, and support of the department’s Content Management System (CMS) in an Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS) environment.
The senior web developer will produce creative content, employ industry best practice application development, communicate with internal and external audiences effectively, and support high-availability content.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or qualified market experience.
A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
We Also Value Experience in website development and design, with proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio, IntelliJ IDEA, C#.
Net, ASPX, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Responsive Design Experience using both SOAP and RESTful APIs, with an understanding of their design principles and best practices Experience utilizing Azure DevOps and Git version control for managing software development processes and source code Experience working with CMS management Experience using UI/UX design tools, including Adobe XD Experience using Adobe Photoshop for graphic design, image editing, and optimizing visual assets Job Contributions Creates, analyzes, modifies, configures, tests, and debugs commercial and in-house web applications in support of functional requirements Develops applications from conception and design through the implementation phase and prepares in-depth design documentation for programs Ensures the website functions properly and is aesthetically pleasing in all standard browsers and mobile devices Coordinates and works with other staff of varying disciplines in the applications development process, including, but not limited to, vendors, Business Integration Specialists, IT security staff, project managers, subject matter experts, end-users, and executive business partners Follows departmental technical standards and procedures using established coding methodologies, tools, patterns, and platforms Works in a team setting with project managers, application developers, web developers, database administrators, and business analysts Participates in user consulting, systems analysis, and system design Working Conditions Most work is performed in an office environment.
