Want to know more about working at EdPlus? Click here! We’re seeking a forward-thinking and proactive Multimedia Asset Specialist to organize and coordinate the storage, retrieval and distribution of digital media assets.
Your role will involve working closely with creative teams, ensuring that all multimedia content is properly cataloged, archived and accessible.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of digital assets and optimizing workflows related to multimedia content.
Essential Duties Develop and implement a systematic approach to organize and categorize multimedia assets.
Assign metadata to multimedia files for efficient search and retrieval while ensuring accurate and consistent metadata application across all assets.
Create and maintain a comprehensive digital asset management system that includes large libraries of photo and video assets, both in the cloud and on physical servers.
Facilitate quick and accurate retrieval of multimedia assets for various projects.
Develop training materials and documentation for users on the proper use of the digital asset management system, with ongoing support as needed.
Desired Qualifications Evidence of strong organizational and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand their asset needs.
Evidence of in-depth knowledge of hardware, software and IT security needs for multimedia storage.
Demonstrated ability to assess, establish and improve workflows and processes (ex.
file naming procedures).
Evidence of technical proficiency in multimedia software and tools, such as Da Vinci, and demonstrated expertise in the editing of both photos and videos.
Evidence of a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field AND two (2) years previous experience in software applications development; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Working Environment EdPlus at ASU is located at SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center.

Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting or standing.
