In this exciting high growth environment, you will utilize your technical, business and financial acumen experience to significantly impact and support the $2.
4B aftermarket aerospace business to improve operating income at 23 sites globally and aftermarket channel partners.
You will report to the Sr.
Engineering Manager Global Engineering Services Process Support organization and will be responsible for creating and maintaining Aftermarket Configuration Management data for all the Honeywell Aerospace Service Centers across the globe.
The role will also be responsible for project management activities and execution of special projects & initiatives that are geared towards cost takeout and increased productivity within the R&O network.
This position requires demonstrated leadership and the potential to interface with functional leaders of all levels across Honeywell.
These functions include IT, Engineering, the Integrated Supply Chain, Pricing and Customer & Product Support, as well as supporting functions such as export compliance and Quality Assurance.
This Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer will be expected to support across a global environment, working with teams from all the supporting aftermarket sites.
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for adherence to export compliance guidelines.
This role will be exporting technical documentation using export licenses as needed.
Master Parts List (MPL) and Document Information Records (DIR) creation and maintenance.
Provide technical support to the Repair shops around the world of the SAP solution for AMS including technical documents analysis, interpretation, workbench troubleshooting and on the job training.
Frequent communication with internal customers.
Project Management Support and execution for GS&I transitions, SAP deployments and enhancements.
Project Management Support and execution for cost reduction and engineering productivity projects including repair development, technology, and automation.
Project Management Support for R&O backlog reduction initiatives, parts reuse and capacity assessments Project management of Repair and Overhaul Capability (ROCAPS) customer inquiries / requests.
Travel within US and/ or internationally may be required - 10% U.

under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization YOU MUST HAVE S.
in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering preferred, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering discipline 5 years of program, product, or engineering management experience.
WE VALUE Visual Basic Programming and Access Database proficiency is plus.
Materials management knowledge preferred.
SAP System knowledge/understanding is desirable.
Familiarity with data management systems such as complex BOM structures and change effectivity implications is advantageous.
Project Management Professional certification Export Compliance Certifications (Internal / External) Ability to understand and establish priorities in a complex and demanding environment Work in a matrix environment with a focus on building relationships and driving improvements over multiple locations A project manager who is well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated Strong presentation and written & verbal communication skills, especially with cross-cultural customer, partners and Senior executives.
