We're seeking a Deputy CIO passionate about DevOps to lead our 30 dedicated IT professionals and drive innovation to new heights! As the Deputy CIO, DevOps, you will be at the forefront of our technology initiatives, collaborating with visionary leaders and spearheading a portfolio of 30+ projects, including AI and AR.
Your primary mission is to ensure success, align IT strategies with business goals, and drive organizational change management and efficiency.
The position leads the DevOps and support teams responsible for Dynamics, Website, Sharepoint, PeopleSoft, SAP, Elections, Integration, and more.

Depending on assignment, this position may be eligible for a hybrid in-office/telework schedule at the discretion of the Chief Information Officer.
DCIO's are required, to come into the office for meetings or address emerging issues in-person in the Phoenix metro area, however, in office work is required a minimum two days per week.
Telework is subject to department need and could change in the future.
SALARY Pay Range: $136,490.
00 - $177,445.
00 annually.
Hiring Range:$136,490.
00 - $148,262.
40 annually.
Pay Range Explanation: Pay range is the entire compensation range for the position classification.
Hiring range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer.
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, and or training.
The City contributes 9% of salary into 457/401(a) plans with no matching required.
$4,200/annual car allowance and $1,440/annual cell phone allowance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Five years of responsible experience in information technology, such as software development, business application support, enterprise systems support, enterprise service delivery management, enterprise security, web-based technologies, project management, and strategic planning.
Including two years of experience supervising technical staff.
Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, computer science or a related field.
Other combinations of education and experience which meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
