The FMS is a complex, real time, multi-threaded system that interfaces with pilots and a wide array of aircraft systems to provide a high level of cockpit automation and allow modern aircraft to operate efficiently and safely in the air traffic control environment.
Opportunities currently exist in multiple areas of specialization including software development on aircraft guidance and control, lateral and vertical path construction, Datalink communication, crew interface and displays management.
This entry level position will involve a wide range of software development tasks including:
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluation of customer supplied system level requirements
Creation of both high- and low-level software requirements to satisfy system requirements within the context of an established software architecture
Design, modeling, and creation of source code based on requirements
Software testing and debugging in support of software integration
Analysis of both internal and customer driven problem reports and test data
Creation of solutions for both existing problems and new functional designs.

YOU MUST HAVE
A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer, Electrical , Aerospace or a related engineering discipline
WE VALUE
Must be fluent in at least one high level programming language such as C/C++ or Ada
Strong knowledge or interest in aircraft operations and system
Must be able to communicate well in both verbal and written form and function effectively in a global team environment.
