Job Summary Assists VCAD II/III in developing add-ins and applications to enhance corporate BIM/VDC software.
Support may include desktop, cloud, and mobile applications and platforms.
Programmatically accesses design geometry in 2D/3D models.
Designs and implements algorithms in computational geometry.
Documents solutions and provides end-user training to enable successful execution.
Key Responsibilities 1.
Assists in analyzing development requests and requirements.
2.
Coordinates with IT Department staff to ensure timely delivery and compliance with programming guidelines and procedures.
3.
Designs, develops, tests, documents, and maintains applications using APIs/SDKs for corporate BIM/VDC software.
4.
Maps existing processes and provides consulting to standardize and optimize.
5.
Participates in activities to support the company’s strategic planning efforts.
6.
Provides training and reference materials to end users.
7.
Uses and enhances existing internal development framework/libraries.
8.
Works with and supports staff in Information Technology, Construction Technology, Business Development, Pre-construction, and Operations across company business groups.
Minimum Job Requirements 1.
2+ years’ in common programming languages like VB.
Net, C#, and C++.
2.
Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field.
3.
Experience with Autodesk software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Navisworks.
4.
Experience with CAD/BIM/VDC modeling practices for design and construction.

Physical Requirements 1.
May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis 2.
Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures 3.
Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis 4.
Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day 5.
Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs on an occasional basis.
6.
Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
7.
