Job Summary / Purpose
An Information Technology (IT) Process Engineer focuses on optimizing and improving IT-related processes within an organization.
This position will focus on processes related to Demand Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, Application Portfolio Management, Time Tracking and/or Resource Management.
The chosen candidate will own the full scope of the defined process for CommonSpirit Health organization.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
Process Analysis - Assessing existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Process Design - Designing and implementing new processes that enhance efficiency, security, and reliability.
Automation - Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and workflows, reducing manual intervention.
Integration - Ensuring seamless integration of systems and applications, optimizing data flow and communication.
Security - Implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures to protect processes and data by partnering with Security to institute safeguards.
Compliance - Ensuring IT processes align with industry regulations and compliance standards, such as GDPR or HIPAA.
Documentation - Maintaining detailed documentation of processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
Performance Monitoring - Monitoring the performance of the process by auditing and instituting controls to maintain compliance.
Training - Providing training and guidance to staff to ensure they understand and follow optimized processes.
Cost Optimization - Identifying cost-saving opportunities within processes while maintaining performance and reliability.
Continuous Improvement - Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, encouraging innovation and efficiency.
IT Process Engineers play a vital role in ensuring that an organization's IT applications, infrastructure and operations run smoothly, securely, and efficiently, ultimately supporting the overall business goals.
Their work helps organizations adapt to technological demand and evolving business needs.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor Degree Preferred (Engineering, Healthcare IT or related study)
Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, ServiceNow - SPM, APM, Resource Management, Time Tracking
Knowledge of the following:
Google Product Suite
Presentation Skillset
ITIL
Lean Six Sigma
Healthcare IT Portfolio
Excellent analytical and math skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to persuade others to change existing practices
Strong attention to detail
Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
Proficient with computer and information technology
Knowledge of process engineering software systems
Pay Range
$42.
69 - $61.
