The University of Phoenix, Inc.
seeks an Engineer III (multiple positions open) based in Phoenix, AZ to design, develop, code, test, and debug new and existing software applications and installed hardware.
Develop and deploy cloud services.
Install IT systems using technology standards and administer systems, including performing maintenance and system upgrades.
Develop enhancements to existing IT systems and improve the functionality and compatibility of existing applications using engineering releases and utilities.
Customize IT systems and maintain program libraries and technical manuals.
Optimize hardware through software benchmarking.
Provide mentorship and support to less experienced IT engineers.
Develop automated tests and review and analyze test results, witness tests, and certify software for production.
Attend workshops, review professional publications, establish personal networks, and participate in professional societies.
Gather, execute, assess and troubleshoot software programs and applications.
Work closely with support operations and administration teams to ensure 24/7 uptime.
Assist in projects and schedule and coordinate project deliverables.
Assist in component and architecture design, software, production evaluation and build/buy recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business requirements.
Position may telecommute from anywhere in the U.
S.
Salary $118,927 – $163,000 per year.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field plus 1 year (or Bachelor's degree and 5 progressive years) of software development experience.
Must have 1 year of experience with each of the following: 1) Adobe AEM 6.
2, 6.
4 and 6.
5; 2) DAM, Adobe Target; 3) CQ Tagging; 4) Java/JavaScript and J2EE; 5) Amazon AWS and Restful Web Services; 6) Apache Maven and Angular JS; 7) React, Jira, and Servlets; 8) JDBC, HTML, and JSP; 9) AJAX; 10) Junit; and 11) Linux and Windows.
