We are seeking a talented Software Developer Engineer specialized in Integration of Industrial Automation and AI Development with expertise in vision systems.
As a key member of our innovative team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing software solutions that integrate cutting-edge software technologies into industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing processes.
This position would work typically work on site at 4425 E.
Cotton Center Blvd.
, Phoenix, AZ, with 25% of the time traveling.
Primary Responsibilities: Execute full software development life cycle Integrate software components into a fully functional software system AI Integration: Develop and implement AI algorithms for industrial automation applications, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and accuracy Vision Systems Development: Design and deploy vision systems for automation processes, utilizing image processing, computer vision, and machine learning techniques Collaborative Project Work: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, and automation specialists, to integrate software solutions seamlessly Software Architecture Design: Design scalable and maintainable software architectures to support industrial automation systems with a strong emphasis on reliability and performance Real-time Data Processing: Implement real-time data processing solutions to enable quick and informed decision-making within automated systems Code Optimization: Optimize existing codebase for efficiency, performance, and scalability, ensuring seamless integration with various hardware components Integration with PLCs and Control Systems, collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software solutions with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other control systems Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of software solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards, and collaborate with testing teams for validation Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for software designs, code, and integration processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and future maintenance Develop template patterns for automation testing Developing and integrating with security groups, hybrid and relay connection managers, SQL failover, SQL Db import/export You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in an industrial application / environment Ability to travel 25% of time Preferred Qualifications: Experience building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, JSON, RPC, etc.
Experience in designing and integrating APIs as part of software solutions in your work Knowledge of building applications and user interfaces (e.
g.
C#) and/or databases (e.
g.
SQL) Proficient in using version control systems such as Git for collaborative software development Ability to implement or contribute to the development of software using c# or .
