JOB SUMMARY: ** Candidates must be on site and local by their start date / No Remote Option Available The IT/ERP Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
The primary responsibility is to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend appropriate IT solutions to enhance efficiency and achieve organizational goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, and challenges.
Analyze existing business processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
Propose innovative and effective IT solutions to address business needs and enhance operational efficiency.
Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments for proposed projects.
Document business requirements, functional specifications, and system design specifications.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between business users and technical teams.
Participate in system design, development, and testing activities.
Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure successful implementation of IT solutions.
Provide training and support to end-users to ensure smooth adoption of new systems.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions and recommend enhancements as needed.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT business analysis.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment.
Experience working with manufacturing processes and ERP systems.
Knowledge of information technology concepts and various project management styles, such as SCRUM or AGILE.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in business analysis techniques, such as process modeling, requirements elicitation, and documentation.
Familiarity with software development methodologies and project management principles.
Knowledge of IT and ERP/MRP systems and technologies relevant to the organization's industry.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) are a plus.
Bonus: Familiarity with information technology standards, ERP software, industry certifications (AS9100, CMMC) and the manufacturing process.
TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficiency in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with multiple teams and departments.
Experience working in a functional/business analyst role supporting a large enterprise resource planning and manufacturing system.
