Software/ Hardware Integration Engineer

Software/Hardware Integration Engineer ATSC is rapidly growing its multi-area surveillance solutions, and incorporating unmanned aerial vehicles, as part of its integrated surveillance solutions.
We are expanding and continuing development of our technology to assist governments and law enforcement agencies to secure its immediate ground- maritime- and air surveillance capabilities, with real-time data and analytics.
We are looking for an experienced software/hardware integration engineer to help develop/integrate commercial/industrial sensors (radar, radios, and camera (EO/IR) to C2 software applications and configuration, as part of its threat detection/surveillance solutions.
Responsibilities Lead software/hardware integration effort relating to C2 software applications as part of its threat detection/surveillance solutions.
Work with government and industry teams to develop test plans and evaluate results.
Assist the team as a machine learning technical expert, with a focus on computer vision, prediction, optimization, and other areas.
Create, test, and apply machine learning/ artificial intelligence/ computer vision algorithms and techniques for detecting drones.
Then, commercialize the results.
Work with C2 software companies to integrate state of the art radars.
Electro Optical and Infrared cameras, radio frequency (RF) sensors and develop drivers and automate operator tasks.
Integrate tested, production-ready solutions into the code for the final product using SDK and API’s.
Required Education and Experience 5+ years current experience developing software/vetting software programs for real-time C2 operating systems.
Experience in integration software for controlling sensors.
BS Engineering, Computer science or data science.
Preferred Experience Expert knowledge of C++, XML, Python, HTML Object oriented development Proficiency with modern software development practices, using tools such as Git, GitHub, continuous integration servers, etc.
Algorithm development – Threat detection and characterization Proficiency with standard libraries used for AI, robotics, computer vision, and/or machine learning (e.
g.
, ROS, scikit, etc.
), would be advantageous.
