We are actively hiring for a(n) Software Development Engineer in Testing III.

Your Role: A Software Development Engineer in Test plans and conducts a wide range of quality assurance tests and analyses results to validate that all application products and services meet organizational standards and business requirements.
All SDET perform test planning, test design and test execution on an agile team.
Your work: (Essential responsibilities) Collaboratively analyzes and reviews user stories and technical work products.
Defines and manages test plans, strategies, results reporting and metrics.
Collaborates to design test scenarios, scripts and data, then develops and executes the scripts.
Identifies appropriate test strategy, a mix of manual, automation, and exploratory testing methods.
Validates test results, records and research defects Coordinates and plans test runs within the sprint Maps user stories to tests and test results.
Prioritizes, defines and handles defect reporting and resolution.
Creates and modifies detailed automated test scripts/modules following team defined coding practices and methodologies.
Maintains solid knowledge and expertise in automated testing tools and techniques.
What would make us excited about you? Experience in the practical application of QA test automation with an object oriented programming language (Java preferred) Demonstrated use of API Testing tools (SOAP, RESTful, Rest Assured, etc.
) Strong collaboration skills and can lead working sessions with the team Experience in the practical application of SDLC and testing methodologies within Agile delivery Three to five years of professional experience in the design, delivery, and support of complex projects with direct hands-on experience with the specific technologies used in the teams systems/solutions listed above Experience testing document generation (such as SmartComm), document storage and document workflow systems preferred A Diverse educational background.
BA/BS in computer science and engineering, management information systems or related degree 5+ years in QA test automation, web-application automation tools (Selenium preferred) and testing framework technologies (JUnit, TestNG preferred) Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles Demonstrated understanding of processing transactional data Property and Casualty Insurance experience is a plus Experience working with and coordinating automated test activities across multiple teams C#, Java or other object oriented language Actively shapes our company culture (e.

The national average salary range for this position is $99,810-$110,900.
However, we have a location-based compensation structure.
Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence.
The full [salary range] [hourly rate range] for this position across all the states we hire in is $89,910-$133,200.
This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 8% of eligible pay.
