BigTime Software is looking to add a dynamic DevOps Engineer to our Technology Team in Phoenix, AZ.
The individual in this role will manage code pipelines, standardize deployment processes between multiple products, and automate manual processes.
You will also help scale our AWS infrastructure and have an opportunity to learn from the team behind our award-winning, cloud based system.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about DevOps technologies and methodologies and able to solve technical problems in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Responsibilities:
Design and implement automated pipelines in Azure DevOps
Collaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD, testing, and deployment processes across the SDLC
Provide technical guidance and support around DevOps best practices
Integrate security tooling and code analysis tools into build processes
Build automation for common development and operational tasks
Required Qualifications:
2-3+ years in an Operations or DevOps role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with PowerShell or another scripting language (Bash, Python, etc.
)
Familiarity with a public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Experience with a pipeline platform (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Gitlab, GitHub)
Familiarity with SDLC, testing, and software delivery strategies
Knowledge of Microsoft environments - .
NET, MSSQL, Windows Server, IIS
Nice to Haves:
Experience with IaC/Config as Code tooling
Understanding of containerization (Docker, K8s, rkt, etc.
)
Experience supporting cloud-native distributed systems
Experience with observability systems (CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, DataDog, etc.
)
Experience with Linux or *nix environments
Understanding of cloud networking and K8s CNI
