Position Summary: We are actively looking for a Solutions Architect and Developer to join the growing family.
We are looking for an induvial looking to make their mark within our company.
A Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and implementing complex software and infrastructure solutions to meet the specific needs of an organization or project.
They work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and developers, to understand requirements and provide a high-level architectural vision that guides the development process.
We're a "best of both worlds" kind of company.
We're big enough to have resources and scale, but small enough that a single person has a surprising amount of autonomy and can make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities: PHP Scripts Management and Development: Fluency in PHP: Ability to fluently write, understand, and optimize PHP code.
Analysis and Improvement: Examine our existing PHP scripts, pinpointing areas for improvement.
Ensure they're optimized for performance and user experience.
ODBC Core Competency: Harness the power of ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) for seamless data exchanges across various databases and platforms and troubleshooting.
SQL Core Competency: Design and Maintenance: Set up database structures, make databases neat and regular, and ensure upkeep tasks like indexing and backups are done.
Complex Queries: Make and fine-tune detailed SQL queries for fetching and changing data.
Stored Procedures and Triggers: Build and look after stored methods, functions, and triggers to make sure database work is smooth and safe.
Performance Tuning: Spot slow parts, come up with fixes to speed up database work, and use tools like Execution Plan for deep looks.
Security: Set up steps to keep data safe, like controls for user access and data coding.
Integration Core Competency: System Integration: Proficiently integrate diverse platforms, tools, and databases, ensuring seamless interoperability.
This not only covers basic integration but extends to devising architectures that holistically bring together systems from store operations to corporate functions.
API Development and Architecture: Architect, design, maintain, and fine-tune APIs for use inside and outside, ensuring that they are scalable, responsive, and secure.
Integration Architecture: Demonstrate a deep understanding of integration patterns, and API architectures, ensuring that systems communicate efficiently and reliably.
Third-Party Integrations: Embed and changed third-party tools in our tech setup.
Experience in building connectors, and middleware solutions, and ensuring data integrity across systems is paramount.
Testing and Validation: Consistently test, validate, and refine integrations, ensuring that they adhere to established architectural standards and that data flows seamlessly and accurately.
AWS Core Competency: Use AWS tools like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS, to steer and better cloud tasks.
Architect cloud-native solutions, ensuring scalability, resilience, and optimum performance.
Networking Core Competency: Architect and ensure that intra-system and inter-system communications are robust, secure, and efficient.
Microsoft Suite Core Competency: With a deep knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft O365, and Microsoft Azure Administration.
PCI Core Competency: Navigate intricacies of Payment Card Industry rules, ensuring systems and data architectures are compliant, and transactions are secure.
Retail & POS Knowledge: Offer a full understanding of retail operations with an emphasis on POS systems' architecture, data flows, and enhancements.
Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing: Familiarity with Business Intelligence practices and Data Warehousing is a good extra skill to have.
Architecting and designing solutions with platforms like Domo, ensuring data is accessible, accurate, and actionable.
Other Competencies: Effective Communication: Good at English, both spoken and written.
Adaptable: Ready to meet the needs of customers, inside and outside, right away, with a knack for setting what's important and staying productive even with possible hiccups.
Documentation Skills: Write down and update info efficiently and use procedures for work problems.
Professional: Build and keep positive, professional ties with team members, customers, and visitors.
Be understanding and work well in a mixed work setting and with different customers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 5+ years in a tech-focused role Demonstrated experience in designing and architecting integrative solutions.
Proven ability to troubleshoot system challenges.
Strong skills in talking and writing.
Proficient in diverse software tools and hardware.
Deep skills in SharePoint, Microsoft O365, and Microsoft Azure.
Top-level skills in AWS, ODBC, and SQL tech and services.
DRB POS Experience: Having worked with DRB POS systems before is a big plus.
Requires the ability to interact with others, interpret spoken messages and utilize reason to resolve complex problems.
Requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Lifting and carrying of 1-10 pounds (occasional up to 25#).
