Your Opportunity
As a backend engineer, you will have a valuable opportunity to contribute to the design and development of our data architecture and interfaces for our core application, which caters to top-tier software investors worldwide.

Responsibilities
Brainstorm with Product Managers and Engineers to conceptualize and build new features.
Help design, develop and launch cloud-native, API-driven web applications.
Participate in technical architecture discussions and actively contribute to decision-making processes, including cloud architecture design.
Integrate multiple 3rd party data sources to enrich proprietary data stores.
Support clients as they try to solve complex problems with technology.
Continuously conduct refactoring, evolve standards, and improve build and test systems for code quality; implement documentation, code review, and CI/CD processes.
Qualifications
3+ years of web application development experience.
4-year BS degree in computer science
Knowledge of writing scalable code in JavaScript or Typescript and experience with client-server single page applications
Knowledge of web services relating to APIs (REST, GraphQL, XML, HTTP, JSON, etc.
)
Previous hands-on development experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.
)
Experience with Agile development methodology (Scrum)
Have worked in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoy operating in a small team
Understanding of financial calculations related to investments a plus
Compensation and Benefits
Commensurate with experience, Salary of $120,000 - $160,000 + Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, STLB), HSA available, position is eligible for equity compensation.

Salary Range: $120,000-$160,000 base.
