The Job/What You'll Do:
The Software Developer supports the implementation and maintenance of internal desktop and web applications.
You will collaborate with a high-performing, multi-discipline team throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
You will be part of design, development and delivery of operational software applications used across various departments within the organization.
Responsibilities: Software Developer core responsibilities include… Analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining web-based software applications.
Maintenance of web applications, web services and back-end processes.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to support and deliver incredible software solutions.
Assist with complex technical application issues thru identifying root causes, proposing solutions and driving problem resolution in a timely manner.
Plus, the following responsibilities… Keeping all development-related documentation up-to-date, ensuring seamless operation and support of the applications.
Writing and debugging code.
Requirements gathering and estimating work efforts on implementation initiatives.
Help define and interact with REST based API's.
Participate in code reviews and quality assurance checks.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Practical workplace coding experience in C#, C, C++ Practical workplace coding experience in Java, JavaScript Practical workplace coding experience in front end web development Ability to act professionally and maintains appropriate boundaries with clients and staff.
Ability to report as scheduled to work, meetings, training, and job-related activities prepared and as scheduled.
Ability to consistently demonstrate compassion and meet people with compassion; Effort, every interaction deserves my best effort; and Ownership, which drives the company's success.
Maintains an open and accepting mindset by being an active learner, participating in discussions with others, trying new approaches and ideas, and being self-aware and self-reflective for continual personal, professional and leadership growth.
Education & Experience: 3-5 years of experience in field, Required Associates Degree in Any, Required Working Conditions: While performing the job duties in the office or at a home office, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; they must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Exposure to noise typical with office operations.
Ability to hear and speak.
