*Description:*
Ford offers a full stack development experience for high-end Commercial Audio/Video systems.
No two projects are the same and all of our work is custom-designed to meet specific customer experiences for applications ranging from corporate boardrooms to airports and entertainment venues.
Programmers at Ford work directly with project engineers, customers and service team members who look after the customer experience throughout its lifecycle.
Programmers at Ford take ownership of their projects while working with a strong team skilled in multiple programming disciplines.
Front end programming includes understanding the system design and working with customers to capture their unique workflow and user-experience expectations.
Front end also creates design submittals and finally the custom touch panel that connects to the back end.
Back end programming also starts with the system design and creates custom logic to control the equipment according to the font end UI/UX requirements.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree.
* Knowledgeable and enjoy object-oriented programming.
* A passion for programing is a plus including self-learning, hobbies and fun projects you have done.
* Possessing an interest for the arts or audio-video is preferred, as it enhances the enjoyment and relevance of the work.
*Front End (UI/UX) Qualifications *
* Training and/or demonstrated experience programming in Angular or similar (e.
g.
, React, Vue)
* Training and/or demonstrated experience designing Graphical User Interfaces (GUI).
* Demonstrated experience working with customers to understand and create their desired user experience (e.
g.
, website front end design and navigation).
* Graphical design skills are a plus for clients who want custom backgrounds, logos, etc.
*Backend Control Qualifications *
* Training and/or demonstrated experience programming with C#.
* Training and/or demonstrated experience programming with Python and Lua.
* Demonstrated experience programming specific AV systems is a plus (e.
g.
, Crestron, Extron, QSC, AMX).
