System Technician

The Systems Technician is the first response to any and all company-related IT support needs that encompass a wide range of IT hardware and software solutions.
Our Tier 1 Helpdesk staff captures general information regarding IT concerns, needs, or issues and either resolve them or advises and escalates the ticket as deemed necessary.

04 per hour Qualifications, Experience, and Skill Requirements: Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware, and other equipment Ability to work with ticketing systems to document all support calls Familiar with Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suites Flexibility with schedule as this position does require shift work Associates degree with an emphasis on computer information systems Preferred certifications; A+, Net+ and/or MCDST Position Responsibilities: Perform ticket-based solutions for an in-house service desk Respond to requests for technical assistance via telephone or remote connectivity software Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues Advise user on appropriate action – escalates to appropriate resources Logs all helpdesk activities through our ticketing system Provide on-call support during weekends and holidays as scheduled.
IT Technician Requirements: Associate degree in computer science or 1-year related field.
A+, Linux+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation is advantageous.
