Join us! The Role The Senior Back-End Engineer role is focused on designing, implementing, and managing our cloud-based systems and applications alongside our Engineering & DevOps teams.
In this role, you'll work alongside our VP of Engineering to help shape the future of our suite of Git tools and services.

We would love to hear from you! What you’ll bring: 8+ years of experience in a Software or Platform Engineering role building cloud applications at scale 3+ years of experience working with modern container orchestration frameworks such as ECS, EKS, GKE, etc.

3+ years of experience working with one of the “Big 3” cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability best practices Considerable experience working with CI/CD pipelines Experience working with Event Driven Architectures backed by a message/queuing system such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, etc.
Proficient programming in one or more of the following languages: Go, TypeScript Experience working with modern database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, etc.
Experience working with remote agile teams Bonus Points: We use AWS as our cloud provider Golang is our preferred programming language We use GitHub Actions We use Kafka About You: You are passionate about making development easier, more accessible, and inclusive.
You have an entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of taking things from idea to scale.
You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with globally distributed teams.
You are a self-starter.
