What’s the opportunity?
We are building the next generation Axway Validation Authority suite; a solution for real-time validation of digital certificates, including certificates stored on CAC cards, PIV cards.
Because our software is currently used by more than a million users across government and civilian agencies, our focus is on delivering a highly reliable, secure, and robust solution that ensures the integrity and validity of online transactions by validating digital certificates (issued by any Certification Authority (CA) in real-time.
We are looking for a C/C++ developer with experience in developing multi-threaded server applications for Windows and Linux platforms.
As part of our agile team, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your skill sets as we continuously deliver our solution with a quality first mindset.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• As a member of an agile team with strong customer focus you will participate in all tasks required to deliver very high quality software.
• You will design and implement high quality software, taking into account desired functionality, security, and performance.
• You will participate in the design of product features.
• You will also implement automated integration tests, and assist in writing technical documentation.
• You will also help in the final qualification of deliverables by executing acceptance tests.
• You will participate in code reviews for other team members.
• You will interact with product management to understand the market and customer.
• You will work with managers and product owners to estimate effort, and prepare business cases for your solutions.
• You will participate in all sprint activities such as planning, grooming, demos, retrospectives.
• You will work with support to analyze and fix customer issues.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• You are proficient in C/C++
• Familiar with Windows and Linux C++ development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code
• You are experienced with multithreaded programming.
• You are familiar with version control systems such as SVN and Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience writing code in Java and Java test frameworks ( Selenium )
• You are familiar with Networking and Internet Standards (TCP/IP, FTP, SMTP, HTTP, SFTP, LDAP)
• Familiarity with PKI, Digital Certificates, CRL’s, OCSP & SCVP protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
• BS/MS in Computer Science, IT or Engineering
• Familiarity with ASN1
• Familiarity with REST APIs and API design
• Understanding of SSL (Secure Socket layer)
• Familiarity with CGI and client side javascript
• Script programming (shell, python, perl)
• You have worked with debugging and profiling tools (like gdb and valgrind, .

) and build tools (cmake)
