BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade and consumer-grade mobile applications for multiple device platforms.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop off highway vehicle automation and autonomy solutions.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Design and maintain enterprise-grade and consumer-grade mobile applications
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop full vehicle automation and autonomy
• Develop and integrate in AWS and Azure cloud services
• Integrate with third-party cloud architectures
• Participate in the full application lifecycle from concept to release to the app store
• Design and document high-quality software to user and functional requirements within specified timeframes and in accordance with Kubota KTI-NA coding standards
• Collaborate with the backend development to enhance our UI experience
• Work with engineering testing and production teams in validation/verification
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of related experience in mobile applications.
• Experience designing and integrating with AWS and Azure preferred.
• Experience in deploying Apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store preferred.
• Experience with REST API technologies, Kotlin, Bluetooth, cloud integrations including testing and troubleshooting.
• SQL databases experience preferred.
• Experience with agile project management preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least 20%.
EQUIPMENT OPERATION (% of time, description, nature of service):
• Office equipment including computer, copier, phone
• Prototype agriculture, construction, and turf machinery as required during testing activities
• Electrical and software diagnostic tools to debug and troubleshoot prototype systems.
• Shop/Power tools and fabrication equipment.
