Job Overview Position Schedule: Full-Time Edward Jones invested $1+ billion in technology infrastructure, digital initiatives, and virtual business enablement tools.

The Partnership and Branch Incentives product team within the Finance technology portfolio is looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to be a part of a team delivering custom applications to our Financial Advisors across the firm in support of their independent advisory needs.

From that first brainstorm with the product owner to Scrum ceremonies where we celebrate deliverables and prioritize the backlog- we work together as a team.
What you'll do.

Work with an agile product team to deliver highly visible and business critical applications that satisfy the business needs and further our mission Solve complex problems and develop high-quality solutions that aligns to Edward Jones architectural standards and processes Code, test, debug and document programs and applications based on specifications received from business systems analyst, first ensuring requirements are complete and ready to code Conduct code walkthroughs and review pull requests to assure quality of programs developed by other associates.
Participate in the team's on-call support rotation.
Mentor entry-level and mid-level developers Our team utilizes the following technology: Java, JEE, JSP, Spring, Spring Boot (Microservices), Rest Services, Spring JPA, REST, JSON, Junit, JavaScript, REACT, HTML, MongoDB, and XML.
Test Driven Mindset familiar with: JUNITS, SOAPUI, and Selenium.
Modernizing our Legacy Platform: WebLogic, JSP, Mainframe / DB2 What you can expect.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field.
7+ years of experience with Java, JEE, JSP, jQuery, Spring, Spring Boot (Microservices), Rest Services, Spring JPA, REST, JSON, JUnit, JavaScript, REACT, TypeScript and XML.
Experience analyzing existing applications and making modifications for new features while maintaining other existing functionalities.
Experience using CI/CD pipelines and code quality tools.
Test driven mindset using frameworks like Junit, SOAPUI, Selenium and contract testing tools Experience or training in the AGILE project management methodology is a plus.
Knowledge of secure coding practice Knowledge of financial services industry is a plus.
Experience and familiarity with Docker, containers, Kubernetes, Microservices, GitHub.
Solid analysis and trouble-shooting skills are required.
