JOB GOALS Provide instruction to students based on lesson plans in the absence of classroom teacher.
Applicant should be able to improvise as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or Equivalent.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: As needed REPORTS TO: Principal, Classroom Teacher, and District Substitute Specialist COMPENSATION: $112 per full day / $56 per half day PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Work with individual students or groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills introduced by the teacher or reinforcing individual IEP goals.
Guide independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work set up by the classroom teacher.
Check class work, grade papers and supervise testing as assigned by the teacher.
Alert the classroom teacher to any problems.
Maintain the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information as is expected of teachers.
Assist students with lunch, snack, recess and cleanup routines.
Assist students with wash-up and toilet routines, including changing diapers.
Operate and care for equipment and assistive technology used in the classroom.
Assist with student supervision in all school settings.
Refer all parent questions/concerns directly and immediately to classroom teacher.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or designee.
