Desperately looking for anyone with leftover scrap wood, able and willing to volunteer time to help build an iguana enclosure.
Asking for a gentleman hell bent on keeping his beloved iguana, that doesn't have the means or knowledge to build or buy an enclosure.
His original enclosure was destroyed during a move.
The adult iguana has since been sitting in a tank his size to where he cant move or perch without proper needs being met, and he is declining in health.
Broke my heart to see his living situation, thus the reason for posting.
I dont have the means to help him, so Im seeking help from someone who can.
I can't talk this guy into giving him to a rescue, so I'm doing all I can to help him get an enclosure.
I've priced enclosures built for iguanas, and neither I nor this owner can afford one at the moment.
Hoping someone who has an old cabinet that can be turned into an enclosure, or scrap wood, and loves to make things would kindly offer their time and resources to help.

An old cabinet, display case, armoire, modified triple deck ferret nation cage, even an old catio with a fluid proof floor added would work if handy enough to repurpose.
