Advocate for Scrum adoption in the Electrical Engineering organization.
Develop a new process and procedure for conversion of predictive life cycle software development to agile life cycle.
Establish training requirements.
Lead execution.
Responsibilities Include: Using Agile mindset, collaborate with engineering project team and functional management to establish the process for completing software development in an agile life cycle.
Develop team methods for implementation (Kanban, Scrum, Feature-Driven Development, etc.
) Develop tools and templates for managing and tracking development.
Develop training guides for the project team and support training.
Operate as Scrum Master for engineering software development.
Train and mentor scrum team in how to operate in an agile environment.
Engage and collaborate with program and functional organizations (from individual contributors to executive staff) to obtain, understand, and interpret program resource needs to effectively meet program milestones.
Manage and maintain the day-to-day interfaces and communications between the Project Manager and the Scrum team.
Support the Project Manager in control account cost and schedule performance.
Support proposal efforts, including but not limited to generation of Basis of Estimate and schedules as they apply to work performed in an agile life cycle.
Basic Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience (13 years with a master’s degree Agile Certification such as: Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) Certification, Certified Scrum Master or Agile Certified Practitioner Certification (PMI-ACP) Demonstrated experience leading agile life cycles.
Experience in leadership and project management, to include Earned Value Management (EVMS) or equivalent.
Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point Proficient in Jira / Confluence.
Demonstrated ability working with cross organizational teams and customers.
Demonstrated ability to present and communicate to variety of audiences.
Preferred Qualifications: SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager Project Management Professional (PMP) training / certification.
Proficient in Web Based SharePoint Experience working in Engineering environment.
Experience with software development of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) Experience with Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) development.
Salary Range: $117,800 - $176,600 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
