Our “Well Kitchen” classes provide group education and our diagnostic suites include non-invasive cardiovascular and brain assessments and therapy.
With osteopathic and functional medicine principles as our compass, we focus on structural balance, and the innate wisdom of the body to aid in the reversal of chronic disease, fostering positive health outcomes.
We are seeking a Medical Office Manager to oversee the completion of various administrative tasks and ensure a smooth day-to-day environment.
*Expectations and Responsibilities:* - Supervising employees' direct personnel actions including recruiting, new hire actions, interviewing and selection of new staff, salary determinations, training, personnel evaluations and firing, when necessary - Developing and implementing office policies and procedures & continuously monitoring the operations and workflow to ensure efficiency - Managing and overseeing Front Desk, Medical Assistants, and Providers - Fostering a positive work environment and addressing employee and patient concerns - Providing exceptional leadership and promoting teamwork and collaboration - Scheduling & approving staff time off - Creating and managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and preparing financial reports - Managing bi-weekly payroll & overseeing regular monthly accounts payable/receivable - Ensuring compliance for various accrediting bodies and government agencies and performing all necessary reviews, audits, education, and training to maintain compliant status - Determining physical maintenance and equipment needs and repairs and coordinating with internal or external resources - Understanding /assisting with billing and providing billing support as necessary - Staying updated on industry trends and identifying opportunities to improve revenue and reduce costs *Requests:* - Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, sciences or related field - Must possess knowledge of the health care system through at least 4 years of experience in a hospital or preferably a medical office - Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements - Data management and organizational skills - Experience delegating and supervising office tasks to staff - Ability to efficiently communicate with people with various levels of medical knowledge in both written and verbal forms - Computer software & EHR proficiency - Financial management and budgeting skills - Emotional intelligence and ability to problem solve \*Health, dental and vision insurance, matching 401K, and PTO available.
