Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's development and any concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various subjects such as math, science, language arts, and physical education
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors in a calm and positive manner
