Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team.
As the Assistant General Manager, you will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our establishment.
This includes managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have experience in shift management, hotel operations, and restaurant management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all aspects of the restaurant, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Supervise and train staff members to ensure exceptional customer service
- Oversee daily shift operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies for business growth
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Assist in creating employee schedules and managing labor costs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in shift management, hotel operations, or restaurant management is required
- Knowledge of Aloha POS system is a plus
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Experience in kitchen management, catering, or food preparation is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food service industry trends and best practices
