Lead Security Technician

*Job Role*: Lead Security Technician *Job Duties* * Ability to wire and trim out head end access control panels in a clean and professional manner as well as commission the systems based on best practices and customer requirements.
* Ability to install and commission video surveillance systems.
* Ability to install and commission intrusion detection systems.
* Ability to understand floor plans and wiring schematics.
* Ability to install door hardware: Panic devices, vertical rods, magnetic locks, transfer hinges, cylindrical and mortise locks, and auto operators.
* Strong oral, written, and listening skills.
* Must be flexible to work different shifts depending on customer requirements.
* Ability to lead a team of technicians.
* Ability to communicate (verbally and written) daily job specifics with customers and Project Managers.
* Willingness to mentor and train apprentice technicians on field device installations and panel trim.
* Interface with manufacturers to identify and resolve issues.
* Effectively communicate and document activities such as keeping records up to date and entering accurate timesheet information.
* Deliver technical training and guidance to clients and team members.
* Coordinate required activities with subcontractors, manufacturers, and company personnel through the required management chain.

*Job Requirements* * At least 5 years’ experience installing & commissioning access control, intrusion, detection, video surveillance, and intercom systems.
* Certification or Experience in the following a plus: Lenel, IPro (formerly Panasonic), Verkada, RS2, Avigilon, Bosch, Hanwha, Axis, Brivo, Allegion, ASSA Abloy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Experience with Blue Beam a plus) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.
