Port Of Subs/Smoothie King in Desert Ridge Marketplace is looking for an assistant manager to join our team.
Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.
Responsibilities
* Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders
* Delegate tasks to team and provide instructions and help them to complete daily task routine
* Prepare delicious make fresh to order sandwiches and smoothies
* Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
* Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance and security standards are met
* Responsible to open/close restaurant
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
* Help to schedule staff appropriately to control labor costs
* Responsible for inventory and ordering systems
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
* Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
* Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant
* Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
