Assistant General Manager As Chandler’s newest entertainment destination, The Forum Lounge and TwentyThree01 Sports Lounge and Club are growing and are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager responsible for assisting with overseeing the daily operations of all food and beverage divisions.
_*Job Requirements*_ - \*\* Maricopa County ServSafe and Arizona Management Title 4 Training Certificates are REQUIRED to start working.
- Interview, hire, train, manage, coach staff in conjunction with other management members.
- Ensure team members are hired, onboarded and trained appropriately.
- Ensure the Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health and safety codes, as well as the company safety and security policies are being adhered to.
- Ensure a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team.
- Manage shifts which include: daily decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness - Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations - Maintains fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensures products are consistent with company quality standards.
- Place orders with distributors to help maximize purchasing power by creating and maintaining positive vendor relationships.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, vendors, and customers alike.
- Assist with creating and maintaining accurate Standards of Operations for all aspects of Front and Back of House practices - Social Media posting to bring more awareness to our location - Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly _*Skills*_ - Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management - Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to delegate tasks effectively - Cash handling experience and proficiency in POS systems - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong knowledge of front and back of house operations including food, beverages, staff supervision, inventory and costing, and food safety - Must be able to stand for long periods - Must be able to lift up to 60lbs _*Job Perks*_ - Food and Beverage discounts within The Forum Complex - Fun working environment with excellent networking opportunities.
