Warehouse Area Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Area Manager to join our team and oversee warehouse and commissary operations.
As a Warehouse Area Manager, you will play a vital role in implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing insightful analysis to facilitate informed decision-making.
Your strong leadership skills and ability to optimize operational processes will contribute to the overall success of the warehouse and commissary departments.
*Responsibilities*: *Safety and Compliance:* * Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and regulations, including state and FDA food safety guidelines.
* Create a culture of safety by promoting and fostering a positive work environment.
*Leadership and Team Management:* * Provide effective leadership to the warehouse, fulfillment, and commissary teams.
* Inspire and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
* Support professional development initiatives for team members.
*Operational Excellence:* * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage critical site metrics aimed at improving operations.
* Analyze current and past trends in KPIs across all operational areas.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
* Conduct audits to ensure work quality and efficiency.
*Budgeting and Financial Performance*: * Assist in developing and managing the site's budget to meet business and growth targets.
* Monitor financial performance and take necessary actions to optimize operational costs.
*Communication and Collaboration*: * Effectively communicate and collaborate with the leadership team.
* Provide support to the management team and actively participate in strategic planning.
*Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a middle management role.
* Strong ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment.
* Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
