JOB SUMMARY

The Catering Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all aspects of the Catering Department at the hotel.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain profitable operations and high quality products and service
Act as a liaison between client and operating departments to ensure a successful meeting and to generate repeat business
Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service oriented manner
Plan and administer catering events by assuring all duties are accomplished personally and through subordinates
Maintains established customer relations and generates new relationships
Conducts property tours and prepares information for site inspections
Generates monthly forecast reports
Manages time and workload with attention to detail
Works with clients to determine specific needs and designs a program to fit the requirements outlined by the client
JOB REQUIREMENTS
3+ years in Catering preferred
Knowledge of hotels and competitive markets
Strong written and verbal communication skills
