Job Summary:
We are seeking a Multifamily Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of a multifamily property.
The ideal candidate will have strong property management maintenance skills, experience supervising maintenance staff, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to residents.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and train maintenance staff.
* Ensure property maintenance is performed in a timely and effective manner.
* Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance
* Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
* Manage maintenance budget.
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
* Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule.
* Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
* Oversee compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
* Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance is up to par.
* Communicate effectively with residents, office staff, and property management team.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required, trade school or technical training preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in property management maintenance
* 1+ years of experience in a supervisory role
* Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance
* Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, OSHA, and EPA regulations
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
