*SUMMARY:* The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Revel Surf operations, fiscal budgets, revenue, and expenses.
He or she is also responsible for all equipment for the facility both existing, the maintenance thereof and capital improvements.
The general manager must possess an in-depth understanding of financial reporting, P&L statements as well as capital investments.
The General Manager facilitates the fulfillment of company goals, vision and initiatives.
The General Manager is responsible for always ensuring the highest standard of guest service.
The General Manager will maintain a comprehensive understanding of all events and amenities within the park.
The General Manager must possess impeccable Communication skills both written and verbal.
The General Manager is directly responsible for the development of an executive team and ensuring the cumulative development of staff and management.
The General Manager is also charged with the day-to-day operations management and client services required for contract compliance.
*RESPONSIBILITIES* _ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BUT NOT LIMITED TO: _ · Manages the day-to-day operations of the facility.
· Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives · Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement develop a high performing managerial team · Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission · Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits · Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements · Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth · Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company · Cultivates a strategic team environment that provides exceptional customer service while directing the management team and ensuring all staff members perform at a consistently high level.
· Assures staffing levels and management coverage is appropriate to meet the needs of the business and maximize the guest experience.
· Leads and influences management staff through effective motivation, leveraging individual strengths to ensure guest satisfaction and maximum productivity.
· Insures execution of all team member recognition and incentive programs as documented · Promotes positive team member relations including effective delegation of managerial duties, fostering high staff morale, upholding operation standards, and execution of the performance management process.
· Optimize financial results (drive sales and control costs) · Analyze financial reports and develops action plans to grow revenue and control expenses in order to meet or exceed annual budgets.
· Maintain systems which insure overall fiscal responsibility for inventory, etc.
· Responsible for all aspects of the operation including pool operations, life safety, food, beverage, equipment, and property to facilitate the fulfillment of financial goals and company initiatives.
· Create annual budget and business plan to meet targeted financial performance · Set goals by period and hold managers accountable for setting and meeting departmental goals · Capitalizes business opportunities in the market area by executing Company marketing strategies to drive sales.
· Maintains a strong community presence through partnership with community and business organizations.
· Consistently meet the standard for the guest experience (quality of operations) · Maintain a safe and secure environment for all Revel Surf guests and staff · Continuously improves operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to Revel Surf operating standards and philosophies.
· Schedules, plans and organizes work and communicates goals.
· Ensures staff compliance of standards and procedures, identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves issues.
· Monitors all departmental appearances and ensures problems are solved quickly · Ability to enthusiastically interact with others · Shares work knowledge and experiences with co-workers · Adaptability, flexibility, general enthusiasm for the business · Excellent pace and energy, self-motivated · Strong communication skills; ability to write and verbally communicate in a clear and concise manner · Ability to establish working relationships with all team members, management and vendors · Ability to maintain and project professionalism, internally and externally, at all times · Courteous/nice/spirit of stoke · Can create and communicate a vision for the facility · Exercises good judgment in decision making · Flexible in approach; can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes · Excellent teaching and coaching skills · Holds self-accountable for high personal standards of conduct and professionalism · Respect for individuals (guests, vendors, and team members) · Innovative and strategic thinker.
· Strong statistical inclination, able to synthesize data into concise business tactics · Innate ability to inspire team · Any other duties assigned by ownership and COO *EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE* · Minimum of 10yrs.
Management /Food and Beverage Management experience · Water/Surf attraction experience is a plus · 5 years of Senior Executive experience · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education preferred · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills · Computer skills with Microsoft Windows and knowledge of Excel are required for the position.
· Proven track record with financial reports and labor cost analysis · Awareness of local, state and federal health and sanitation laws · Awareness of local, state and federal water safety laws a plus *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by a General Manager to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Flooring is tile in the kitchen and carpeted or tile in the restaurant.
Rubber mats cover the floor behind the bar.
Possibly encountering wet or slippery floor surfaces.
· _*Exterior Work Areas-*_ may have extreme temperatures depending on weather conditions Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.
