IT Senior Project Manager

Overview: Oversees the IT Project Portfolio delivering on large, complex projects of strategic importance, using specific project delivery framework.
Manages and supports the Project Leadership Team to successfully deliver the agreed project scope.
Works in collaboration with project sponsors and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities: Leads IT Project Team including mentoring, coaching, and addressing conflict to manage a diverse team of IT professionals.
Collaborates with senior stakeholders within IT and Business to clearly articulate scope boundaries and quantify business value to be delivered.
Represents the project in various governance meeting and inter-departmental forums.
Manages all aspects of the project lifecycle and oversees project delivery within Project Delivery framework.
Manages project scope, schedule, and budget, to ensure IT commitments are met within established time and cost and quality parameters.
Composes and publishes the project Creates and maintains the project schedule.
Develops and implements project communication Provides reports on project status.
Manages project risks and Identifies and resolves blockers raised by project team.
Escalates project issues as needed.
Performs other job-related activities as requested.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology field, Project Management, or a closely related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience as a supervisor in a healthcare environment preferred.
5-8 years of experience preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
