*Job Title:* Assistant Manager - The Farm Kitchen *Supervisor:* President/Owner – Manager *Compensation: Average $25-$26/hr* *Shift/Hours:* 45 hours per week.

It serves as a tool to establish structure, efficiency, and guidelines for the specific role of The Farm Kitchen Assistant Manager.
*Primary Objectives:* Responsible for ensuring the success and ongoing growth of day-to-day restaurant operations at The Farm Kitchen, maintaining the highest standards of food service, and ensuring client satisfaction.
*Major Areas of Responsibility:* * Assist in optimizing the profitability of The Farm Kitchen.
* Manage the kitchen and food preparation in compliance with health inspection requirements.
* Collaborate with other managers to set objectives and understand requirements.
* Contribute to The Farm at South Mountain brand by delivering a rewarding experience through fresh and local ingredients, innovative cuisine, exceptional customer service, and creative presentation.
* Coordinate with other managers to ensure timely and accurate placement of orders with vendors, meeting pars without exceeding.
* Oversee all restaurant employees, covering training, scheduling, customer service, and adherence to the Farm brand.
* Order, staff and oversee all private parties (picnic parties).
*Job Responsibilities:* * Attend work promptly, presenting oneself professionally in dress code, appearance, and actions.
* Adhere to a designated schedule and meet weekly hour requirements.
* Assist in increasing sales and profitability.
* Ensure maintenance and cleanliness in all restaurant areas.
* Assist in training and developing new and current employees on company standards.
* Conduct daily staff inspections for compliance with company standards.
* Daily interaction with the kitchen for quality review and special requirements.
* Ensure restaurant readiness by 10 am daily, covering various tasks for a smooth opening.
* Daily review of payroll and evaluation of labor performance.
* Daily review of sales audit, cash security, and follow up on over/shorts.
* Manage petty cash and make bank runs as needed.

* Distribute daily cash tips, excluding late employees.
* Ensure restaurant closure with completed checklists.
* Oversee employee lunch breaks, ensuring consistent coverage.
* Enforce company policies for employee discounts and lunches.
* Inform employees of parking policies and monitor compliance.
* Supervise and collaborate with other managers on employee oversight.
* Assist in creating the weekly schedule, considering special events and picnic parties.
* Lead in organizing picnic parties, handling reservations, informing staff, ordering equipment, and ensuring readiness.
* Correspond and book photographers in a professional manner.
* Collaborate with other managers to place orders with vendors.
* Ensure compliance with all government regulations.
* Foster a team-minded environment between employees, Farm managers, and other businesses.
* Represent the company positively to guests, tenants, and staff.
* Lead by professional example, promoting a respectful work environment.
* Ensure a pleasant experience for all guests and visitors.
* Lift, pull, carry, and push up to 50 pounds frequently.
* Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
* Demonstrate a sense of urgency while working.
* Offer help whenever possible and consistently demonstrate a team player mentality.
* Fulfill any other duties and special projects as requested by the Supervisor.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $25.
